Default powder coating a bike engine

I have striped the Bike ( Harley Davidson Electraglide ) I was wondering if the engine case - the jugs could be powder coated or do I need to take it apart completely? also can the carb be powder coated? if so what temp and time will I need to cook it for?
Thanks
How can I upload pictures so I can show the progress?

It needs to be broken down. Cleaned like you're gonna drink out of it, and should be shot hot. Also try your best to keep it thin, you don't want to cause an overheating condition. The carb can be done but needs to be stripped down completely...This means that everything should be taken out of the inside and only the body should be done. A good rule to follow is...The only thing that should go into the oven are parts with powder on them. I know someone who cured an engine case with the crank bearings still in place...huge mistake!! After about 10 mins of runtime the crank bearings spun and destroyed the case.

I figured that was the way to do it, I glad I ask first I don't want to put all this time in to it and then just have to repair it.
what about temp for powder coating is their a rule of thumb or does everything have different times and temp?
Thanks again

Your cure temp and dwell will be manufacturer recommended. Please keep in mind that those temps are part temp NOT oven temp. You start the timer when the part reaches cure temp. For this you will need an IR temp probe. Make sure that you have all the oil residue cleaned off before you apply your powder.
