I'm hearing talk of powder tinters for clear coat. I'm not sure if that will be viable anytime soon but I'd love to see the liquid smoke come back.

liquid smoke is not discontinued , it's just not carried by caswell anymore
I think candy black looks better than liquid smoke , it looks more like black chrome plating than liquid smoke .
just my 2 cents.

jtagger19,
Thanks for the info. I'll have to try the candy black. I have several customers that really liked that look.

I'd also like to see a pic before I buy a few pounds for stock.

To my knowledge, Liquid Smoke is not made any more by the place we were getting it. That's why we switched to Black Chrome. We only ever remove powders when the manufacturer stops making it...unless the color is a complete dud and never sells, which wasn't the case here.

Switching causes us a ton of trouble, because customers frequently need more of the same color to match jobs...so we hardly ever do it.

EDIT: There's one more cause of switching...when the manufacturer TRIPLES the price on us to a point where none of you would ever buy it at the price we need to make money. This happened recently with our Transparent Red powder.
