Default High temp coating for headers?

I am thinking of trying the high temp coating for the headers. I was thinking the gloss black or silver. Anybody got any suggestions on which one holds up better or looks better?

You would want to use ceramic on headers. High temp powder will not last on headers.

I'm planning to use high-temp silver for a set of headers. I was planning to just coat with the silver, with no clear coat and assumed that a clear wouldn't hold up in the high heat. Is this correct?

I'm with bzer1 go with ceramic and avoid the headaches.
I've seen headers done with high temp powder and it burns off instanly and if not it will peel off in just a few days.
