Default first atempt at flames

this is my first atempt at flames its on a mountain dew can.
was able to do the black / orange / clear and wet sand and buff with out destroying the can.
tell me if its good bad or soso ?
if i could figure out how to fade some yellow in the orange would be great any ideas ?

Not bad. Keep practicing and you'll have it in no time. It looks like you have the process...Now you can work on your masking technique. Once you have your maksing skills together there is no limit to what you can do. You can even make your own graphics.

I'm truely amazed and curious as to how you cut and buffed the can without crumpling it.

verry carfuly put the first coat really heavy.
makes the can harder

you can get a 1/8" tape that bodyshops use for masking tight spots, then you can make better flowing flames.
but good work on that can, i use cans for color samples but i haven't tried to do multicolors on them
