I WAS WONDERING WHAT THE HELL HAPPEND TO THAT GUY HE IS THE ORIGINAL MODERATOR FROM THIS FORUM, ANYONE REMEMBER HIM AND HIS WISDOM.

it's a matter of personal taste, I'm afraid. Some would even argue that the differences in equipment are better for each task to be performed as well. Coating a fishook is far easier for a small gravity fed cup type gun as opposed to a fluidized bed suction feed. Then again, you don't want to be refilling that type of gun every 2 minutes if you have a large production run either. Some powders need to be finely fluidized so there's no way around it. Some powders aren't needed to be quite aesthetic as an end result, so a gravity feed cup is a good fit for that application. There's also a factor of *which* type of suction you desire. Is a vibratory box good, or a large fluidized bed the answer? It all really depends on "what" you are doing and what you need the end result to be. For most hobbyists, a gravity feed cup type gun is more than sufficient if that's the answer you were digging for. Good luck.
