Clear Powder Coat over Paint???? - Plating Powder Coating Buffing Anodizing

Does anyone know what temperature you can bake paint at before it will damage it? I want to put a clear powder coat over a set of painted tins for a Harley. I have read that Stock Harley clear coats are powder coat not paint. My plan is to bake for an extended period of time at a lower temperature.

I can't answer your question specifically, but you could get a good idea by painting some scrap and baking it at the temp you plan on. This will show you if the paint takes the heat or gets destroyed. And please let us know what happens, as i'm sure we'd all like to know

Oh yeah, what kind of paint is it??
