Default Hobby gun gasket

When you buy a new powder gun cup it comes with a gasket in it. I have been putting this gasket in the lid of my gun when I use it. Is this necessary? Can I get by without it or will it cause my gun to leak? I really enjoy this forum and read it every day. I've learned a lot from you guys and have been practicing on everything I can find. I will post some pics soon.

Default Re: Hobby gun gasket

The gun should have come with one just like the one in the container lid. I've purchased 3 units from Caswell, one came without the gasket.

It will leak without the gasket, I tried it...
