alum head

hey guys i am looking into doing a alum head on a atv, do you think the 400 degrees temp would hurt the head or not? i dont know if any one hase done this, i would think so but i dont want to waste $300 trying to finde out... hey thanks for your time guys. this site is the best i am just glad people are willing to help others

Heads will be just fine. Can do whole blocks. The cyl temps reach much hotter than 400*. so no worries

if you are not sure just cook at a lower temp for a longer time .
