Default I finally got started....

First of all, I just want to say thanks to everyone for the help and advice I've received.

I finally got started powdering this weekend. I decided to give it a shot on an aluminum shift knob that I got with my B&M short shifter. This is done with the Chicago Electric gun and Harbor Freight red powder. The transfer on this gun seems pretty good and it seems to work best at 15 psi air pressure. Anyway, I shot it, then baked it at 350* for 30 mins and this is what I got:

Oh yeah, I'm hooked. I am looking for anything to coat now!

red04cavy,

Looks great!

Keep it up and you'll be powder coating everything in your house...I know.

I've done all of my door knobs and door hinges! It just looks better than the norm.

Best of luck!
