transparent red powder over aluminum diamond plate

Hello, I am building a toolbox for my ATV out of diamond plate aluminum. I would like to powder coat it with transparent red. Anyone ever done this combination? What does it look like? What color is the transparent red? Will, it be close to "Honda Red", Fire Engine Red, Milwawkee Drill Red , or is it sort of maroon? I saw a picture on the main page of a brake caliper (or something). It looked more maroon than red, could have been cause of the base steel color though. Thanks in advance for any comments.

I am new to coating, but coating alot> I have used 1 pound of the red in question. THIS WILL LOOK LIKE A RED CHROME.( lollypop red) This stuff is GREAT!!!

the word says (transparent) wich means if you have a dark base you will have a dark red . it will reflect what ever is under the red .also if you put a heavy coat or double coat it will also be darker.
