Default Fade effect - powder coat

Is it possible to do this with powder coat ?
I recon it should be.

I've seen apic in the gallery of a green to black fade....don't know how they did it though

it doesnt count cos the part thats faded is wood, and that cant be powder coated afaik , well unless he plated it.

I think i know how to do it now
It appears that after the base coat, he lightly sprayed the edges and heaverier towards the center.

yea thats what it looks like

So i know how to spray my bow now
itll be black on the outside, then blue, then siver.
2 tone fair enough, 3 tone might be difficult.

Try it on a piece of aluminum foil or something similar to try and get a feel for it before you do it on the bow.

i nicked a load of broken risers from the club so ill test it on them.
but powder is precious over here 2.5 times an more depending on powder than in :'(

Yikes!
Check around on ebay or someplace, you can usually find deals on small lots of powder cheap, it'll get you something you can play with that would not cost an arm and a leg.
