Default oven size problem

okay, my first real customer and i have a small problem.

i sent the dimensions of my oven too him prior to him sending the parts he wanted coated and asked him to make sure they'd fit. i received the parts today and the valve covers do not fit in my oven, i'd need about 2 extra inches on the door side.

in a pinch has anyone ever extended their oven with tin foil or some other cheap and easy fix? i just need a temporary solution here and i'm willing to try anything.

I have wrapped insulation in heavy duty aluminum foil and taped it together with hi temp tape for a small extension before just to get me through a job. As a matter of fact I have one here right now made out of 2" rock wool and aluminum foil you can have it if you want it just pay for shipping. It was taped up with the green tape and used several times I was just planning to throw it out. The size is about 24" x 24" x 12" deep

Call me if you want it. My number is on my website.

They will fit on a funky angle, but the one side would have to rest against the oven wall.

I'm in the planning stages of a pregnant oven right now, but not ready to go full boar. I was thinking of calling this the first trimester set up or something stupid like that.

Thanks for the offer, and I'd take you up on it if I had more time and you weren't so far away. I'll just run over to Canadian Tire today and pick up some rock board.
