Powder Coating MAgnesium

I've heard some dreadful stories of Magnesium stuff being powder coated...is this true? Is it hard to coat or is it just like any other metal? I got a customer wanting magnesium Dodge valve covers done and I told him to hold off and I'll get an answer for him on that. What do you guys think??

no problems here, I coat it just as any other metal.
how ever ceramic coating will not work .

Thanks man...now I guess my next question would be, does it outgas alot?

just like anything else
i outgass for 30mins at 450 deg
