Question Powder color sample packs?

Hey all,

I was wondering if you guys would ever consider selling the powder in smaller sizes?

I purchased 7 or 8 different colors for the custom guitar effects enclosures and amp chassis I build, out of those 8 colors I only really liked about 3. The others where not what i wanted at all.

Some of the pictures didnt look like the powder at all namely "Teal" the pic is light blue and the color is very dark like bluejean blue.

second the boxes I do are very small and I dont think I would ever use 1 pound of color in a year! alot of it is just going to go to waste.

I just think it would be great to be able to get the powder in like 1/4lb sizes and maybe make the min order of 3 different colors for the regular price of 1lb? and just ship the color in plasic bags to save some $$ on containers? just an idea.

I know I would be alot more inclined to buy multiple colors just to try them out. I cant really afford to buy 4 or 5 more colors that I cant use.

even if you guys could put up pictures of the raw powder, that would give me a better idea of what I would want to order. paint chips suck!

thanks guys,

PS I really really hate using spray paint!

If you have colors you don't like, swap them with another forum member or sell them on fleabay.

Sure it was marked correctly?

Most places offer powders in half pounders. A lot of the sample sets are 8 ounces per color.

Close to 100% of the time the powder will never look like the final result.
The sample chips or uploaded pictures of the finished product are the way to go.

I don't think that it would work out selling 4 ounce packages.

Well buying 20 different colors and only being able to use 8 or 9, selling the rest for less than half of what i paid doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me..

The the 2 colors I was really surprised by was Teal and Green, the paint chip for teal looks about what the powder looks like but the picture is way wrong, the green paint chip seems to be the lightest of the greens with pictures(turf and tropical) but it is the darkest forest green I have ever seen, the turf green pic looks almost neon. I think some of the pics are wrong

A picture of the raw powder would be alot better than just the paint chips.

your right 4oz powders wouldn't work, 2oz would be better for samples and 8oz for regular selling sizes.

Caswell any chance this could become an option??

who's with me!!

pictures give an idea of a color , lighting ,flash, different camera , different pc ,these can all alter the original color

color chips ,specially candy colors and metallics can differ depending on thickness of film and also from applying over a light or dark base .

2 oz bags . i don t think anyone would go into packaging and sealing and labeling 8 different containers or bags to sell 1 pound of powder at an average of 15 $ a pound
picture of raw powder is completly useless .looking at all the powder inventory
none of them look like the painted samples i have, exept for the flat black
