Why would you come on a powdercoating supplier's site and advertise another supplier? That seems kind of crappy.

This is an information exchanging forum... right. I don't think his intententions were to advertize... just to answer a question.

It's as simple as that.
Thanks Jeff.

I've got to agree with all the above. It's a forum to discuss all aspects of powder coating. What if someone posted a pic of something they coated and Caswell did not carry that powder. You have a customer that really likes the color, do you ask the poster what it is and where he got it? If this was a Guinness beer forum would you discuss the quality and taste of other beers.

Hey jefford15, nice work on the bike parts. My only question is did you or are you going to anything with the bearings in those rims?

Doesn't Caswell sell a nice matt black?

"They sell name brand powder and it here in 2-3days...

There's nothing wrong with telling us what powder you used, saying "I used Ohio Custom Coatings so-and-so black" is great, I just think that encouraging Caswell customers to go over and buy from someone else isn't too cool.

As others have stated the man answered a question. He did not say anything bad about Caswell. He just posted a link to the powder he used. He's not encouraging you to do anything. Based on your thinking, maybe Caswell should close the oven forum because they sell ovens!
