Forgot it was on sale. It is still $25 cheaper. The Caswell includes a free pound of black powder, but I've got so much gloss black powder in the shop it isn't even funny!

Good luck getting tech support or warranty repairs from either of those companies...you get what you pay for!

I plan on buying the Caswell Vari-voltage gun at the end of the year, I just need something to get me through. For a beater gun, $20 cheaper is $20 cheaper!

Same here.

I looked for the low cost gun on Caswell and think it was out of stock at the moment. With the forum and support advantage I'd rather buy Caswell for a little more money than HF.
For sure all my powders and other stuff will come from Caswell, that's probably where the money is really at anyway, repeat sales on powders and other stuff that gets used up. If it's a good spray system that will last that's only a one time sale and one time profit.

If buying at HF watch for the coupons! Get the catalog and retail store flyers!!
They are always having big sales and coupons like 15% off anyone item. So $69 for a cheap gun at 15% off is $58.35 plus either shipping or tax if you have a HF store local to you.

Being I have to set everything up at once and a limited budget to do it, that $40 will go along ways towards buying powders to get me started. I already sell a product just painted that sells well. I can cut costs on it and raise the price when I powder coat it instead of painting it, that will make me the money to buy the more expensive better high powered Caswell system I want but don't have the money for right now.

Dan, I just needed something to get me through the summer. I can make $64 back on one job, so I'm not too concerned about longevity. It I had the cash to drop on a pro gun I'd do it in a heartbeat, and hopefully by the end of the summer I can swing a vari-voltage gun.

I'll be buying mine from Caswell I think.
Called HF store nearest me, the units are back in stock again but now $99, so unless a big sale and a coupon come up to drop the price before I order it I'll by mine at Caswell.
