No, all seals and fittings need to be taken out. Competely disasembled. Everything you coat should be disassembled

They say you can tape off the piston seals and plug the holes and you're good to go. Calipers are made to take a LOT of heat and most of them have high temp seals, like Viton or similar.
I've done a lot of them and just made very sure to tape off around the piston and plug up really good. So far they've all been working. |

you're correct in that respect but I go the route of complete dis-assmebly. if you leave the seals in there is always the chance of trapped fluid behind the seals working it's way out in the oven.
