Small scale Powder coating

Hello,
I'm looking for a system that will powder coat small parts, i.e. for pen making, small 1/4" diameter brass tubes, etc. Caswell has basically two systems I see which may suit my needs, a 16KV system for $95.00, and the 30 - 50KV system for $229.00

I usually subscribe to the concept "Bigger is better" however I'm curious if thisis true for this case. Will the lowest setting i.e. 30KV be low enough to not cause problems with smaller parts? Can I add a component to redue the 30KV to say 20KV?

Even for small parts the 50 kv is the better unit, I've owned both.

I do a ton of small parts and would not go back to the $99 unit.
