Default Stove Panels

hello all

Anybody have a faster way to strip elec. stove panels? Paint stripper wont work and blasting with a/o is really slow.......Thanks

Go to a auto parts store and buy a couple of spray cans of Permatex Gasket Remover. Stuff works like crazy.

Are you talking about the enameling? If it's the old stuff, good luck. I've only seen that come off after beating it with a hammer.

The old steel was porcelain coated.
It withstands high temps well, but it might be possible to sand or blast an acceptable profile on it and powder over it.
