Default Fix Needed

i just powdered a glovebox door from an old car and the front side needs to be redone but the back is ok.. Can i just blast and sand the front or will i need to do the back side also?

im lazy so I would use chemical stripper on the front like gasket remover.


then I woul put masking tape allover what you Dont want to coat. or sandblast. spray, remove masking tape. bake.

Any tips for making a flat surface like the glove door come out really flat after baking?

blast, then sandpaper. I have yet to get a perfect thin flat coat. but the sandpaper got me allot closer to it.

what grit sandpaper?.. 600, 800, 1500 ?
also would the position of the part while baking have anything to do with nice flat areas?.. this part was hung so the flat side was verticle.. Would keeping the flat side horizontal help achieve a nicer flat baked surface?

I tried 220, next flat item we are going to try polishing and seeing how it comes out, I always am a horizontal hang. still trying and erroring.
