Do you guys plug up the spoke holes or leave them open?

Most rims i have chabged tires on, the holes were large enough that the spoke nuts fit loosely. I dont think they need pluging. Also, I would think that covering them, would leave a spot uncoated, and Rust will eventually seep out form the bare spot

no I never plug the holes. most hubs are AL so they won't rust anyway.

sure u can coat with the spokes laced but that looks like cr@p IMO. relacing, dishing & truing a wheel is a snap once you've done it a few times.
