Powder Coating Chrome Rims?

whats the process to powder coat a solid color and clear over chrome rims?

also, what to do if the rims have some rust spots or chips?

I usually out gas chrome parts @ 450 for about an hour. If the chrome holds up, I'm good to go. Scothbrite to get a bit of a profile, wipe down with Acetone, blow off with clean dry air, lightly run a torch over the part to remove any dust bunnies or rag lint, powder and cure.
Some will lightly blast, that should help get rid of the rust. personally if it's chipping I'd tell the customer to have them stripped.
