Question Powder Coating Coil Springs?

Would powder coat crack on automotive front coil spring from the up and down movement?

If it can be coated, any ideas for hanging it, not any holes in them at all or flat surfaces to set them on?

Yes, they can be coated. As far as hanging, you could use the smallest wire possible and touch up the hook mark.

Or there are companies that will mix a touch up paint to match your powder. You can get it in cans or pens. Most of the time I get the customer to drill some kind of hanging point.
