Alloy wheel refurb help

hello all,sorry this is a paint not a powder coating question but any help would be appreciated.
i have a set of alloys to refurb,the person wants the centre spokes to be matt black and the rest normal.
these are to be spray painted but is there going to be any major problems that you experts could forsee? what coating do you suggest to protect and still keep the Matt black look?

i have to repair road rash first then ettempt the paint job.as this will be my first set maybe i think i will be stretched to the limit,maybe too much for my first time.who knows? i might do ok i will keep you posted and provide some pics.
