Default Caswell Super Stripper

Sounds really good...anyone had any experience with it? I would love something that I could use over and over again.

It sounds like and is priced about the same as the one that EW has and also from Solvent Clean. It's all pricey, but will do the job. If I have saomething I want to strip real quick, I use Permatex Gasket Stripper. It is in a spray can about $5.00 and it does work. You may need to spray it a couple of times. Just don't leave it on very long, like a few hours.

I use the D-Zolve 1012 from Solvent Kleen which most likely the same stuff or very similar. It works well at room temp and no need for agitation. Try to keep it clean by filtering it into another bucket.

How long does it take to strip and does it strip like it says? Just immerse the part in it and a little later on rinse the old finish off to reveal stripped metal? I am getting tired of working with this smelly, hand burning chemical stripper. Half of the time I have to scrape, strip, scrape, strip, until it is completely stripped. Thanks guys..

It doesn't take too long. I'll leave something in for an hour and just hit it with the pressure washer. If it would need to go back in be sure all the water is dryed off. It does burn a bit on my hands, not too bad though. Just wash your hands. The smell is not bad, don't have your face to close when you remove the cover from the bucket, it'll curl your toes.

This stuff is great! I just did a valve cover in 45 minutes. Don't know how I worked without it.
