Cool Illusion Emerald

Just posting some before and after pictures of an old scrap valve cover i did today. The base coat is black Metallic, and the top coat is Illusion Emerald. let me know what you think.

1. I had to strip the valve cover using a paint stripper from Canadian Tire.
2. Then I sand blasted.
3. Washed sand off with water and air
4. Used a acetone to clean the parts with a lint free fag
5. Placed the part in the oven for 45 min at 410 *F (out gassing).
6. Once the part cooled down to 120 *F I sprayed Caswell Black Metallic.
7. let part cure at recommended time.
8. Once part cooled down I palm sanded black coating off the top and sanded to high shine.
9. Clean part with dry rag and air.
10. Pre heat to 120 *F
11. Spray and bake with Caswell Illusion Emerald

The part look 10x better in person in the sun.

They are not silver lines, they are aluminum lines showing through after i sanded the base coat off.

After sanding I sprayed the Illusion Emerald, which is like a clear (top coat). You can not see the Illusion Emerald on the aluminum, Illusion colours need a dark base coat like black.
