Unhappy Ford 4.6 throttle body??

Can a ford 4.6 throttle body be coated with the plastic type cable guide? I cannot get it off... it is part of the whole assembly. Just wanted to know if anyone has done it cause I thought it might melt.

What is 4.6 in Cubic inch? I think a 5.0 is 302?

I have lots of engines and stuff here so if I have one I could look to see how to remove it.
Seems if body is metal then the plastic has to come off somehow! I am stripping a couple cars with V6 and straight 4's and have a couple I am running now with V8. Details on what you have and I may have one to check out here.

Off hand I would say not to bake plastic like that, however I did bake some wiper blade arms with plastic tips and to my surprise they are fine. I expected those tips to melt below 400F and baked them up to 450F no problem. Now to coat the arms!

Why would this matter? it is a V8 such as the 1996-2004 thunderbird, mustang, crown vic, grand marquis, explorer even. The plastic looking piece is kinda molded on. Maybe I can post a picture. The plastic or whatever it is looks riveted or mold injected on. This may not be a good pic but here.

I was asking so if I check some parts here I get the right one or very close.
First post did not give much detail of the part so hard to answer or test one.

If you don't get info about doing it soon I will try to bake one this weekend if I have one and see if it melts or not. That picture helps and I think I might have a similar part on a couple trucks/vans here. If I have them I can spare one for testing

I don't have a junk yard, but my yard is full of junk LOL

I looked and though I have a similar part mine are made different for the cable and do not have the black plastic part.

I removed the plate and the shaft...left the bearing in and it seems to work not that I put it back together...the rubber on the bearings didn't melt...I'll post a pic...looks GREAT!.
