Default for those of you that use professional guns

What brand do you use & are you happy with it's performance? I use a Wagner Prima Airfluid with a C4 gun.

why do you say this? we're moving to a new shop in a month or so, and we decided a few months ago to purchase the nordson sure coat once we're settled in. seemed like a quality and versatile gun that fits our needs.

Looking into one of the Eurotec 400's like Harleydad. Just fed up with the inconsistent powder delivery. Small parts is fine, but covering a uniform coating on a 4 x8 sheet of steel, plasma cut artwork on it, Just cant get consistent

Do yourself a favor and get a fluidized hopper also. If you like the cup guns thats also an option.

Fluidized Hopper is better How is the color changes, Time wise? I often need to change colors in 10 Min or less, Like when doing chrome/clear, or multi color jobs, half baking, then shooting next color. Thats why I was thinking the Box Feed, Because all my powders are either 55Lb boxes or 5L pails.

Use the hopper for colors you'll have on for some time. Better fluidization. I have some jobs that are 400, 500 parts. Box feed is fine if you change all the time and I can chance colors in less than 10 min. I don't like to use the 55 lb boxes just because of the weight. It seems to get compacted even though the part it sits on only vibrates when the trigger is pulled. Seems worse this time of year (humidity).
