Default Default Powder coating an assembled transmission??

Would it be unwise to attempt to powder coat a fully assembled transmission (minus bellhousing and shifter)?? It would probably need to be media blasted, but I would completely seal off the input shaft/output shaft area and shifter handle.

Seals and O rings will not handle the heat
