Default NEWBIE HELP! lol

Well i been paying for powdercoating way too long and i want to now save money and the trouble of shipping. Im going to buy a oven off of ebay that is 3x3x4 and a regular starter gun (maybe you can suggest me one). Now how can i make a small spray booth? I dont have too much room but it needs to be about 8 ft tall. Im thinking of some ply and 2x4s's? and make a box shape with one side cut out for me to stand in? Do i need anything to catch the powder or a filter or something? I also need to be able to hang some heavy parts to spray. such as a ATV frame and some smaller ATV parts.

Thanks
espo

I am new to this but I just used a cardboard box to do small parts. I dont think you need an elaborate spray booth. What seems to be the biggest pain to me is cleaning up when you want to switch colors.

here's a simple/cheap one we used for a while. the pvc wouldn't be strong enough for some heavier stuff, but you could either modify it to be stronger with other materials or you could hang parts from a rack with casters to make it easier to move to the oven.

wood would be fine. line the inside of it with a thin galvanized sheet too. it makes for easy clean up.
