some air compressor questions

on ebay search "cyclone separator" and the guy's ebay name is "eastcaroga". he's got three different sizes, i think. for these you'd need a pretty decent blower. i got a 1200cfm blower from the "squirrel cage store" on ebay for under $100 for our pre-cyclone setup. squirrel cage blowers are low pressure and aren't ideal for either filters or cyclones, but it kinda works. i'm in the process of finding a high pressure blower that isn't too expensive.

so that would be fine for what I want? I'm not looking to re use powder. What would be the point to have a filter and what u mean low and high pressure

if i wanted to use a fan for ventalation and then just cleaned up the powder with a shop vac, u dont think that would work. im tight on space. im gonna have a 3x3x4 oven, the booth. dont really have room for a big dust collector like that.

that will work. you'll know better what you need after some time, but starting out you don't need much.

a 2x4 is only like 2 bucks.so the frame will be easy im just deciding if i want to use a painters tarp or ply. i think ply would be more professional . but painters tarp would be cheaper and easier to clean. what d oyou think?

could start with tarp and change it out later if you don't like it. i was actually thinking of doing a combination. it's a lot easier to clean powder from smooth plastic than bare wood. i suppose i could try *painting* the wood.
