Default Powder coat gun

What would be a good powder coat gun for a beginner? I'm thinking about the pro kit from caswell. Does anybody have this gun? Any problems? Anything better? Thanks Rick

I have to agree FigureLLC. It's a good starter gun, you just have to practice with it. Air pressure has a lot to do with it. Fine tune it. Learn to use the screw on the bottom. It seems to make a difference according to it's adjustment. Don't seem to have powder pouring out the end and get a nice powder cloud.

Thanks Guys, I think that's the one. I will give them a call in a couple of days. Trying to concentrate on getting my oven built. That pro kit comes with a infrared lamp My question is this: Could you do a truck frame with that? You would have to do it in sections right? Is that possible? Rick

From what I understand and can see, is that the infrared heaters are one spot at a time. The area they cover is limited to there size. For that reason, I never considered one. Just went ahead and built two ovens instead.
