Default Seriously thinking about Eurotec gun

Got a few quotes now, and $4500 from Powdercoatingsupply seems about the best. I am intruigued about their TEC. Total Energy Control. The ability to vary the gun charge in accordance to distance from part, so not to over charge powder.

Anyone have any thoughs on this gun?

TEC !i think many companys use diferent names for the same thing.
by limiting the amps when you get closer to the part the kv is going to drop so it s basically the same as on a GEMA or other guns

for that amount you can get a wagner or a nordson
wagners and nordsons also adjust acording to distance of parts .
replacement parts are cheaper for wagner guns ,not that they break but nice to know just in case anything might happend.

Hmm, cause I was told Eurotec was cheaper than Nordson and Wagner.

Anyone got some links to suppliers for some quotes?

I've got a EuroTec, very happy with it, it is my first gun though so I can't compare it to other models. In one year I have not needed to replace any parts. Powder Coating Supply www.powdercoatingsupply.com

Wagner has a nice small cup gun. Good for the frequent color changes. That's about $4200.00 It's set up like the Caswell gun.

that's the set-up I have, the Prima box-feed. I think Harleydad uses a Eurotec. hit him up if you have questions about it.
