Overcoat to turn gloss to matte

Hi, I'm new here. I searched but couldn't find an answer to my question.
At my workplace, we're just starting to do powdercoating on some of our products. We have some parts that say on the plans to powder coat then overcoat to get a matte finish. This was done by an outside vendor for many years, but we're doing it ourselves now. My question is this: The parts are already powdercoated gloss. What do we use to overcoat and get a matte finish? Thanks.

I've used a satin finish clear coat with a gloss killer additive to achieve this. It depends on how dull it has to be.

You may be able to order your colors as a matte. Many companies will custom mix powder to your specs. Cost would probably even out or be less if the company charged more for the custom chemistry because you wouldn't be double coating+additives+oven time and so on. Have you looked into this? Or you could send everything to me.
