I'm acquiring stuff to start to do my own PC and Blasting "Hobby Shop" and will be constructing my own Powder Booth (Only item left).
I have read that you can easily remove the dust from a blast cabinet with a shop vac into a bucket of water. That being said, My question is this... Can I use the same setup and tie both the PC Booth and Cabinet to the same line and use the water as the filtering system? I would pipe it is such a way that I could seal off one when the other is not it use in order to achieve full "sucking" potential. Can this also be achieved using an old furnace blower motor rather then shop vac? Or will it not be strong enough to pull. Has anyone done this before? Let me know your thoughts... Thanks in advance. - Sean |
