Would love too but for some reason buying a house sucks every dime you have out of every single pocket

yeah, we'll see how much money this compressor REALLY ends up costing. we'll either have to upgrade the electrical system to handle 440V or buy a new motor starter that can handle the current draw at 220V. ...IF we've got a breaker that can handle that current.

i'd recommend starting on parts that don't require blasting. new/bare metal, anodized parts, metal that's been protected by paint that you can chemically strip down to fresh metal. you'll be somewhat limited on what you can do at first, and it'll take extra time to prep, but at least you can make a little money to go towards equipment upgrades and you'll be learning all the while.

I had a Full shop down in Florida but lost it in a divorce so I know what I am doing, well the basics anyway. (Old enough to know If I say I know everything it bites me in the a$$) I hope to do parts for one of the NASCAR shops in the area so all the parts will be new and clean when I get them, will ask them for small parts as a test. also will be contacting the local alt/starter rebuild shops as well and have them give me a few new ones to PC as a test/trial. Works out great that way, I got several steady customers in FL that way
