The place i work has a huge powder paint line.....its about the length of a football field .....and a few smaller booths .....so the guys who did it ...know what they are doing ..... but they have never worked with the High Temp powder before. all the parts were factory chrome...when i brought them in.....I know they cleaned them....but they were still chrome ...when they powder coated them......My parts will be back from being stripped down to the bare metal soon .....and i have already ordered more High Temp Powder coating from Caswell.....Im just really nervous about it......cuz if it dont turn out this time.....I will have about $3000 in junk parts....i dont know what to do? ......i would have went with ceramic ...or someother kind of paint ......but it seemed like Caswell had what i needed ....So I really hope the Powder isnt the problem! ...... I guess all i can do now is wait....and hope for the best!

i don t understand why the parts would be scrap . if it fails again you can still strip again and have someone that has used high temp powder before do them for you . removing the chrome was not needed unless the chrome itself was peeling

Hi-temp powder will not stick to smooth chrome.........Dont stick to well to glass beaded metal........... You need to blast with 80-90 grit media then coat and cure.

Good Luck
