Default Has anyone ever. What would happen

Just an off the wall question I guess.
Was wondeeing if anyone has ever sprayed on 1 color, then put cear on with curing the first layer first. What would happen if I tried would it just be a waste of powder.Maybe it would be a swirl effect?
Any gueses?
