Default Orange turned out really pale!

I sandblasted the parts and cleaned them extremely well! I sprayed them fairly thick but still they are really dull. I need to figure out whats going on and why! I have more parts I need to get started on and got to get these finished!

Do anyone have any suggestions?

BTW Its columbia coatings Super Mirror Orange. Do I need a base coat or anything? I am just spraying it on bare metal.

Here is a pic with the flash off:

Try that, it should work. Its just a really pale orange, almost as if it wasn't thick enough and you can see through it.

Thanks a million!

incomplete & un-even coverage is probable the culprit here although it could be some nasty little shop troll ruining your finishes. hmmmmm.

Humm not sure on the pictures why there not working. Email me and ill send them is all I can think of? osmond.mark@gmail.com

As for the coverage. I thought it was fairly thick. I dont think any more powder would have stuck on the parts. I tryed to make it as even as possible. I even took a bright light and put on the parts and I couldnt see a problem before baking.

Any suggestions I could try? I am going to go for attempt #3 tomorrow...

I ordered the super mirror orange from columbia coatings. I use the super mirror black from them and like it so I figured I would use this. Not sure if they mixed up the powders when packaging or not but I doubt that is the problem, however it could be. Is there anyway to check?

I am going to try the orange again tomorrow for the third time. I am going to blast the hubs and recoat and I am going to just sand the a arms and recoat. I am going to make sure that the coating is thick enough and will try to get as even coverage as possible!

If you have any suggestions you can let me know.

Thanks a million!

I'm with BAZ
that doesn't look like mirror orange it looks like candy orange
mirror orange is a very bright solid orange
that one looks tranparent . even though it looks like uneven coverage it still looks transparent.
