Default Clear Coat Over Chrome
Can someone explain the clear over chrome technique?
How do you prep the chrome?
Can chrome be cleared that has just starter to pit to preserve the chrome?
What product do you recommend?

Clear or candy/translucents over chrome about all you can do is clean really, really well. You will see everything thru them. Personally I wouldn't do it if the chrome has started to pit.
