OK, Call me stupid, but how do you clean the PC gun. Does the end defuser just pull out? there's a screw on the bottom of the gun. does that need to be removed to disassemble it? I don't want ot damage it, so I thought I'd better ask first.

Thanks for the info and now another question. After powder coating the piece, should I have the oven up to temp. before placing in oven or does it hurt anything if I place in oven before it reaches the specified temp? Ben |

The opposite with thin walled material. I'll turn the oven on and set it to cure temp (400) and put the part in when the oven reaches 325 - 350. In both scenarios, start the clock when the part reaches cure temp. Does that make any sense. |

absolutely it makes sense to me. I've been placing the piece in the oven and turning on the heat and waiting for the piece to reach temp and then starting the clock. No wonder I've been getting OP. Most of the items I'm PC are between 3/8th to 1/2 inch in thickness (T-6061 aluminum). Thanks, I may just get one done that doesn't look like an orange and carters like the moon. Ben |
