Default gloss killer

i'm doing a few military badges that need to be subdued brown.i bought some fawn brown and some gloss killer from powderbuythepound.they said they would include directions in the pakaging but did not.

i need to know do i add it to the fawn brown and if so what ratio.or do i use it as a clear coat?

You add it to the powder. If you have a gloss powder, add 10% - 20% to achieve a semi-gloss look and 20% - 30% to achieve a matte finish. Don't add more than 30%, anything more will effect the powders hiding ability and color. These are the insrtuctions for Tiger Drylac's gloss killer. If you want to check with PBTP to be sure, call 1-615-776-7600. Ask for Shelley or Matthew.
You could probably get somewhat the same result with a semi-gloss or matte clear.
