I've had some problems with this. For polished letters, I usually polished the letters, tape off and trim the letters and shoot. But, sometimes the powder runs under the tape when baking. When this happens, I just take a razor blade and clean up the edges.

That's how I did this one...

But, I've heard of people just wiping off the powder thats on the letters, before baking. I can't do that, because I have to heat up the part to get the powder to stick in the tight spots. That's why I do it my way.

For this one I shot the black first and followed the same steps as above. The powder didn't run under the tape, if it did...it would have ruined the job. That's why my way isn't preferred, but it works for me.

I would also appreciate some "pro" help on this.

John

Looked so good. Does anyone have any Pictures of this?

I tape off the bigger stuff and simply sand off the PC with 220 with a flat palm sanding block and come back and hand polish the letters later..
