I've posted here before about my carter problem and after various preping methods, it came down to oil or water or dirt in the air lines. So I recently purchased a La-Man extractor/dryer that will remove down to 5 microns. Just tried 2 PC tests and both still have carters.

Is the 5 microns too big and should I have gone to a .01 micron filter??

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you use any WD/40 in your shop??




I mean for any thing ......rusty bolts anywhere with in 50 feet of where you are powder coating...

You need to be using a coalesing filter in conjunction with that dryer. Ideally, you want it filtered down to .01 microns.
