Default Removing Fiberglass from Valve Covers

Yes, valve covers. Not sure what thats all about but its heavy on both. Whats a good method to get it cleaned off?

Many of today's valve covers aren't metal. They can be fiber reinforced composites (plastic) or just plain plastic. Some may have steel ribs or not. Striping the fiberglass could leave you with nothing but washers. Got a picture of the problem?

Ok, got it figured out. Put it in a 450 oven and it melted to the point i could scrape it out. Easy!
