Default Honda CBR Frame

Anybody know if Honda used powder or paint on there frames. It is a 2002 CBR900. I did the subframe and the color came off fairly easy in the blaster, but the frame seems a little tougher, which is leading me to believe it is powder. If it is, do I have to take all the old powder off? Any suggestions?
Also have a set of wheels with the same color.

It is just tough stuff to take off in the blaster. I need to look at getting a immersable stripper. Have seen a lot written up on this stuff, just need to decide which one to buy. Thanks guys.

Hi. I'm new here. And I know next to nothing about powder coating. But I have been a motorcycle mechanic for the past 12 years, most of them in a shop that sold Honda. So I felt qualified to give you some input on this. In 2002 the CBR was a 929 (still classified as a 900 on the frame tag). I don't think the frame would be powder coated. Unless it's an Erion racing edition, in which case the frame would be black. If it's not, and I assume it isn't, then it shouldn't be powder coated. It would be anodized though. I've not done it, but I've heard of guys using oven cleaner to strip the frame to polish it. Do a search on CBR 929 frame polishing. You'll find a ton of how-to's on it.

Edit: Sorry, I just realized this thread is 2 months old. I didn't catch that at first. I guess you probably still don't need any help. Ignore me.
