Does the fan blow powder all over the place, or are those filters that good as to catch it all being drawn through?

Thanks for the picture!
The only time the powder really got through the fan was when I tried to use a cheap filter on it. I ended up just doubling up the cheap filter and it works very well now. I still have enough suction to keep the powder in the booth, but little, if any, gets through the filters.

I really wanted to make an exhaust around the back of the fan, so that I could control where any powder that did make it through went, but because of where I have it sitting, I wasn't able to do it.

That booth is too nice!

PVC pipe and tarp, call that cheap? How about a metal storage cabinet that's 6ft x 3ft x 2 ft (free on craigslist) cut out a square on the back and mounted a fan (had it) and filter (borrowed, ahem from work). Total cost - $0. Hung up a rack from my oven (another cragslist find) and basically hang my parts from it.

It works pretty well, I gotta say.

Next up, building an oven out of two or three of 'em...

I had a similar idea when walking through the offices at work. The 4 and 5 drawer legal size cabinets would work well. 18 guage walls, weld about 3 of thoss babies together and you have a pretty large oven.
