Default outgas horseshoes

I am building wine racks made from old and very well used horse shoes.
They have been cleaned very well and sand blasted, is there any reason to outgas these, I know they have already been heated up alot (they are mild steel) ?
Thanks

Default Re: outgas horseshoes

You wouldn't normally outgas anything other then cast parts. I don't think it's necessary to out gas those as they are steel. The cast has pores that hold garbage in them.
