Is the intake aluminum? If the phosphate is a multi-metal chemistry and contains flourides you can use it on aluminum, otherwise no real benefit.
If you're going to use a high temp powder, I wouldn't phosphate. Clean real well, blast, outgas, clean or blast again, blow off with clean dry air, coat and cure. The length of cure time depends on the cure temp of the powder i.e. the powder cure instructions say 400 - 10 min. That means when the part temp reaches 400 (checked with an I.R. temp gun) start the clock.
