if you cant come up with a cool picture , then just dress up the name..

Or you can use a still picture of parts you have done, kinda like the one in this banner i use..

You don't.

You are going to sell the powder to people who know, or or curious enough to look into it for their parts.

Make a simple looking Biz Card, with your Biz name and at the most, what you will coat. of course the minimums of name, phone # and email addy. but keep it simple and flashy all at the same time is a policy to adopt here. I highly recommend a white backgraound with high contrast color for lettering/artwork..... somthing like Black.... LOL

I like the name, but not all that it implies.

When was the last time some one said "half baked" to you, and what were they refering to and indicating with that phrase. And, if taken literally , a Half Baked item (of food or powder or what have you) would not be finished.... but I like the name, so I'm conflicted on it..... But I know,.... I wasn't asked either. I'm just carrying on the conversation. (sorry welterracer, no mean-ness , just ponderings)

I know this is more of a Banner rather than a company logo but it might help you get ideas.
Someone else suggesting using pictures of parts you have done in the past, thats exactly what I did.

I use it to advertise on our forums, found here:
WCUK Powdercoating - WaterCooling UK Forums

i know whatcha mean. it stuck with me though, and i remembered he did a lot of sled pieces. the name caused enough curiosity to make me check out the website. and the work on the site speaks for itself, so i wouldn't hesitate to take him my parts. i think it does what a name should do. interesting & memorable.

well-done on the card, marcus! if i'd never heard of pc'ing before, i'd have a pretty good idea from a glance at that.

actually the feedback ive had on my name is HUGE.. everyone loves the name.. as stupid as it sounds.. I have even gone so far as to say .. "With prices so low we must be stoned"..

I always tell people that baking is only half the process..

My Partners wife actually came up with it by accident.. She said:: I suppose you will call it something stupid like HALF BAKED..

We said PERFECT.. LOL

I guess women are good for something afterall..

Brian

And don't forget, you have the backside to deliver the message of what you can powder coat. (Auto, Motorcycle, Boat, Lawn furniture, etc...). Mine works, but may be a bit busy. Am also rethinking it.
